Introduction for Chinese solid state Induction heating machine

With years development of solid state induction heating technology, right now in China there are two main type technology used in induction heating field . 

One is the voltage source series resonance type technology and the other is current source parallel resonance type technology . The main features of the two 

type induction heating technology as below : 

• Voltage source series resonance type

1)  DC side capacitor filter

2)  Inverter output voltage is square wave;output current is sine wave

3)  Tank circuit is low resistance series resonance

4)  Suited to low Q tank circuit

5)  Inductor voltage is Q times the inverter output voltage.

•  Current source parallel resonance type

1)  Dc side inductance filter

2)  Inverter output current is square wave;output voltage is sine wave

3)  Tank circuit is high resistance parallel resonance

4)  Suited to high Q tank circuit

 Inductor current is Q times the inverter output current.
